President of Republic draws attention of UN to dangerous situation of human rights in occupied territories of Western Sahara

Birlehlu (Liberated Territories), December 6, 2014 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, has drew the attention of the United Nation to the dangerous situation of human rights in the occupied territories of Western Sahara, and the consequences due to the persistence ofthe Moroccan state in violating Sahrawi human rights.

 

In a letter Friday to the UN Secretary General, Ban-Ki-moon, the President of the Republic brought to attention the dangerous approach of human rights abusescommitted by the occupation authorities against Sahrawis, reminding in this regard of the situation of Embarek Dawdi and his serious health conditions.

   

The President of the Republic recalled in his letter the last unfair trials against the two Sahrawi political detainees Embarek Dawdi and Abdlekrim Bushekla, demanding the release of all Sahrawi political prisoners.

 

The President of the Republic held the Moroccan state responsible for the consequences of the situation of Embarek Dawdi and all Sahrawi political prisoners in the Moroccan jails. (SPS)
