Aguinit (Liberated Territories), December 10, 2014 (SPS) – The Polisario Fronthas conducted a military maneuvers Mondayin the southern regions in the framework of the national alert plan put forth by the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front.
The maneuvers were under the supervision of the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the forces of Sahrawi People's liberation Army (SPLA), Mohamed abdelaziz, accompanied by theMinister of Defence, Mohamed Lamine Bouhali and the military Staff.
Duringthis military maneuvers executed bythe SPLA at the 7th Military Zone, the Minister of Defence, Mohamed Lamine Ould El-Bouhali, affirmed that "the Saharawi national army is ready to return to armed struggle against the Moroccan regime ", renewing, on this occasion," the trust in the UN to resolve the conflict over Western Sahara. "
Thedefense minister called the UN "to resume the historical responsibility for the organization of a free democratic and fair referendum, to enable the determination of the Saharawi people."
