Algiers, December 18, 2014 (SPS) - The Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) will participate in the 11th edition of the 2015 - African Games, scheduled from 4 to 19 September, in Brazzaville, Congo, announced Monday in Algiers the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohamed Mouloud Mohamed Fadel.
This statement was made during his meeting with his Algerian counterpart, Mohamed Tahmi, who welcomed the first participation of athletes of the SADR at the next African Games in Congo.
For his part, Mr. Tahmi confirmed the availability of his Ministry to support the Saharawi part in the preparatory process. To this end, a joint committee was immediately set up to place a roadmap.
The joining of the SADR to the African games comes two months after the meeting of the Ministerial Committee, sport, youth and culture of the African Union held in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). (SPS)
