The International Group also reiterated its position, which stresses Saharawi people’s right to self-determination, during European seminar for solidarity with the Saharawi people, held in Madrid, Spain last November.

Participants also called on, during seminar of Madrid, the international community to adopt "a consistent" policy on the issue of Western Sahara to enable the Saharawi people to exercise their right to self-determination.
