Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), March 11, 2015 (SPS) -The Council of Ministers on Wednesday denounced the state of siege and excessive militarization imposed by Moroccan occupying authorities on the occupied Saharawi city of Dajla, ahead of Crans Montana Forum to be held from 12 to 14 March 2015.

Chaired by the President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Frente Polisario Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, the Council asked all parties concerned to abstain from taking part in such an illegal and immoral act that encourage Moroccan colonial policies which are based on aggression, looting of peoples’ wealth, dissemination of drugs and encouraging organized-crime, terrorism and threatening peace and security in the Sahel region and North Africa.

In a communiqué issued at the end of this meeting, the Council praised the valuable contribution of the Sahrawi civil society, particularly the youth and students, in announcing a national campaign against the looting of Western Sahara natural resources.

It, therefore, denounced, once again, the decision by Crans Montana Forum to hold its meeting in the occupied Saharawi city of Dajla.

It also hailed all countries, parliaments, organizations, companies, financial institutions and personalities among others across the world, who declared their rejection to take part in this forum, which is in violation of international law. (SPS)
