Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), April 24, 2015 (SPS) - The Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) participated in the first session of the Specialized Technical Committee on Social Development, Labour and Employment, held in Addis Ababa April 20-24, under the theme "social protection for inclusive development."
The meeting was attended by ministers in charge of social development, labor and employment, the experts responsible for the sectors, the social partners, the organs of the African Union such as the Pan African Parliament and the observer organizations.
It examines several topics, including the challenges of social development, the action plan on employment, eradication of poverty and inclusive development.
SADR was represented at the meeting by Mr. Baba Albardi, First Secretary of the Saharawi Embassy and Maria Saila, from the diplomatic mission in Addis Ababa. (SPS)
