M'hamid el Ghizlane (southern Morocco) May 11, 2015 (SPS) – Sahrawi masses celebrated Sunday in the city of M'hamid el Ghizlane, south of Morocco, the 42th Anniversary of the founding of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Seguia el Hamra and Rio de Oro, May 10, 1973.
The Sahrawi masses issued a statement on this occasion reaffirming their attachment to the Polisario Front as the legitimate and sole representative of the Saharawi people, stressing the need to adhere to national unity for the accomplishment of the national project of an independent Sahrawi state, and declaring their commitment to the right of the Sahrawi people for self-determination and independence.
In the same context, the Sahrawi students in the University of Fez issued a statement on the same occasion, declaring their adherence to the Polisario Front, calling for enabling the Saharawi people to exercise their right to self-determination, and demanding that the whereabouts of the disappeared and abducted Sahrawis will be revealed.
