Abuja (Nigeria), May 16, 2015 (SPS) A Saharawi delegation led by the Minister of Culture, Mrs. Khadija Hamdi, participated Friday at the 8th summit of the African First Ladies Peace Mission (AFLPM), held in Abuja, Nigeria.
The summit discussed the stages of implementation of programs and decisions that were adopted in the past two years, particularly the deepening of the culture of peace in Africa, strengthening the role of African women and the fight against diseases and epidemics, as well as assistance to victims of war and conflict in Africa.
The participants also elected a new political leadership of the African First Ladies Peace Mission for the next two years. (SPS)
