Birlehlu (Liberated Zones), July 16, 2015 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, paid tribute to the resoluteness of Saharawi political prisoners in prisons of Moroccan languishing in Moroccan jails and their endurance in the most horrible conditions, in a felicitation message to the Sahrawi political prisoners on the occasion of Eid el Fitr.
“The terrible detention conditions and hard health state have neither thwarted you from daily courageous confrontation with executioners of the Moroccan occupation, nor from engaging in successive hunger strikes and issuing tirade declarations,in condemnation of the unjust and unacceptable situation, not only in the part relating to you directly, but in all its manifestations and its impact on the rest of the national Sahrawi body,” underlined the President of the Republic in his felicitation message.
The President of the Republic and pointed out that the Sahrawi political prisoners are present in the hearts and minds of the Sahrawis, they are a source of pride, inspiration and resistance, thanks to their battle and daily struggle, and great endurance.
He stressed that the stupidity of the colonialists, sooner or later, will turn into absurd stubbornness doomed to inevitable failure, and the state of the Moroccan occupation is aware more than the others that all means of repression, intimidation and siege will only enhance the tenacity and determination of Sahrawis attached to their legitimate rights.
