Algiers, August 5, 2015 (SPS) - Algerian Minister of National Education Ms. Nouria Benghebrit on Tuesday reiterated her ministry’s readiness to continue providing assistance to the Saharawi Ministry of Education, in a meeting with her Saharawi counterpart Ms. Mariam Salek Hmada.
The Algerian minister expressed willingness to work on boosting cooperation in the field of the modernization of school system in the light of Algeria’s rich experience.
Saharawi minister, for her part, expressed desire to take the advantage of the reform experienced launched by the Algerian education ministry.
The meeting examined the prospects of cooperation in several fields including of which professional training, exchange of information and experiences, printing textbook, and the preparation of educational programs through joint working committees.
The meeting was attended by Saharawi Ambassador in Algeria Mr. Brahim Ghali, Cultural Attaché to SADR Embassy Mr. Mahjub Chreif, Director of Algerian Local Education Mr. Hamadi Belaïd, in addition to the Algerian ministry staff. (SPS)
