Shaheed Al-Hafid, July 24, 2024 (SPS) - The Ministry of Public Health organized training days on psychological and mental health.
The training days were supervised by the Central Department of Psychological and Mental Health in cooperation with specialists in the field of psychological and mental health from the Hegoa organization.
During the training days, specialists in the field of psychological and mental health from the Ministry of Public Health, specialists in School Psychology and members of the Association of the Families of Sahrawi Prisoners and Disappeared (AFAPREDESA), benefited from various knowledge in this field.
The training days aim to provide the target groups with the necessary skills and techniques in the field of psychological and social support in the Sahrawi refugee camps and to promote the work of psychological health and enhance its role.
Hegoa is an organisation not oriented to profit. It was founded in 1987 as a union in the University of País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. It structures its work in the areas of: documentation, education, sensitization and education for development as well as consultation and research.
