Luanda (Angola), July 12, 2024 (SPS) - The Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic to Angola, Hamdi Khalil Mayara, has paid a working visit to the Union of Angolan Writers, where the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Sahrawi Journalists and Writers Union.
The Sahrawi Ambassador was received by the Secretary General of the Union, Mr. David Bilinguila, where the two sides held a bilateral meeting to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation and deepen the Sahrawi-Angolan solidarity, especially in the specialized fields of the Union.
The meeting allowed for a review of the developments of the Sahrawi cause and the situation of writers in exile and under occupation.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the Angolan official to renew his support for the just struggle of the Sahrawi people.
