Sahrawi civilian prisoner Brahim Daddi Ismaili transferred to hospital

Agadir (Morocco), March 17, 2024 (SPS) - The administration of Ait Melloul 2 prison, on the outskirts of the city of Agadir, transferred the Sahrawi civilian prisoner, who is part of the Gdeim Izik group, Brahim Daddi Ismaili, to the hospital without receiving any treatments or medical examinations, according to information received by the Sahrawi Prisoners Protection Association in Moroccan prisons.

According to a statement from Ismaili's family, his transfer to the hospital was due to a severe deterioration in his health condition. However, he did not undergo any medical examinations or thorough examinations during his time at the hospital due to medical negligence and the procrastination policy adopted towards him. After hours of waiting, the hospital authorities stated that they did not have the necessary equipment and medical devices to conduct an examination on his right ear, and he was returned to the prison.

For months, the Sahrawi civilian prisoner, Brahim Daddi Ismaili, who is part of the Gdeim Izik group, has been suffering from severe ear pain, in addition to other psychological damages he has suffered due to arbitrary detention and difficult prison conditions.
