Bir Lahlou, 4 July 2021 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, conveyed to his Algerian counterpart, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, his warmest congratulations and best wishes, and through him, to the brotherly Algerian people, on the 59th anniversary of Independence and Youth Day.
“The Sahrawi people, like all the peoples of the world yearning for freedom, justice and peace, join its Algerian brother in the celebration of this remarkable anniversary in the history of all mankind,” said the President of the Republic in his congratulatory letter to the Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
It was an opportunity for President Ghali to express to Algeria, its people and its army, his sincerest thanks, appreciation and gratitude for the firm positions of solidarity and support for the just struggle of the Sahrawi people, in full harmony with the principles of the glorious November 1st Revolution and the Charter and resolutions of the United Nations and the African Union.
It was also an opportunity for him to renew to his Algerian counterpart the firm will to strengthen the relations of brotherhood, friendship and alliance between the two brotherly countries, to promote peace and stability in the region, and cooperation and integration between all its countries, in a context of mutual respect and good neighborliness, and to work together to confront all the dangers, especially those resulting from expansion and aggression policies and threats of terrorism and organized crime.
