Chahed El Hafed, October 01, 2019 (SPS) - The Ministry of Social Affairs and the promotion of women celebrated the International Day of Older Persons, which coincide with the 1st of October every year.
The celebration of the International Day of Older Persons is aimed at highlighting the significant contributions of older persons in society and raising awareness of the problems and challenges they face in today's world. The elderly also make many contributions to society through volunteerism, transfer of experience and knowledge to other generations, through their experience gained in life, while emphasizing their ability to continue giving.
The event, which was attended by representatives of all national institutions, honored a number of elderly, in addition to a number of workers of the Ministry of Social Affairs and the promotion of women. SPS
