Prime Minister receives delegation of International Union of Jurists

Complex of Hussein Tamek, 11 March 2017 (SPS) - Prime Minister, Abdelkader Taleb Omar, received Friday a delegation of the International Union of Jurists, in presence of Minister of Information, Mr Hamada Salma, and President of the Constitutional Council, Mr. Mohamed Buzeid.
The Prime Minister informed the delegation about the latest developments related to the Western Sahara issue at the continental and international levels, expressing in this regard the hope that the Security Council will exert pressure on the Moroccan regime to comply with international law and allow the Saharawi people to exercise their right to self-determination.
The meeting was an occasion for the delegation of the International Union of Jurists to learn about the just Sahrawi cause and express their solidarity with the struggle of the Saharawi people.
The delegation thanked the Saharawi people for their warm reception and praised the efforts of the Saharawi government to build a just and solid society.
The delegation of the International Union of Jurists, which had previously visited Saharawi refugee camps and the national institutions, included jurists from Algeria, Turkey, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. (SPS)
