Wilaya de Auserd, February 28, 2017 (SPS) - Participants in the international sporting event, Sahara Marathon 2017, organized a solidarity meeting with the prisoners of Gdeim Izik and all the Saharawi detainees jailed in Morocco.
All the interventions demanded the unconditional release of Sahrawi political prisoners, denouncing the unjust trials to which they were subjected unjustly by the authorities of the Moroccan occupation.
The event was organized shortly before the start of the second stage of the Marathon in the wilaya of Auserd with the presence of the runners and a large audience of the wilaya,
The seventeenth edition of the international event, Sahara Marathon has started today with the participation of 500 runners from the five continents, including athletes that won titles in international competitions. SPS
