Bir Lahlou, August 21, 2019 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary General of Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Gali on Tuesday congratulated his Uruguayan counterpart, the President, H.E Tabare Vazquez, on the occasion of his country's Independence Day, which was a long and difficult journey for freedom and independence.
The President reiterated the determination of the Sahrawi state to continue and strengthen the bonds of solidarity, friendship and cooperation that already exist between the two peoples, stressing the continuation of the bonds of friendship and cooperation that marks the relationship between the two countries.
Brahim Gali reiterated his deep gratitude and appreciation for the solidarity of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay and its firm position to end the occupation of Western Sahara. SPS
