Dakhla (Refugee Camps), 16 January 2023 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received on Monday a delegation from the Republic of South Africa representing the African National Congress headed by Mr. Obed Bapela, Minister of the Government of South Africa and member of the African National Congress (ANC), on the sidelines of the 16th Congress of the Polisario Front.
The meeting focused on ways to strengthen relations and ties between the Sahrawi Republic and the Republic of South Africa, during which the South African delegation expressed the commitment of the ANC Party to continue its support for the Sahrawi cause, wishing the Polisario Front success in its 16th Congress and achieving the desired goals that would reinforce the struggle for victory and independence.
For his part, the President of the Republic appreciated the participation of the ANC in the work of the 16th Congress of the Polisario Front, considering it a reflection of the depth of the strong relations that unite the two parties and the two brotherly countries.
