Amnesty International calls on Morocco to release Saharawi political prisoners

London, April 06, 2016  (SPS) -The prestigious international organization of human rights, Amnesty International urgently called in a public statement issued Saturday, the Moroccan authorities "to free the thirteen Saharawi human rights activists on hunger strike since last March 1st in prison Shelah.
Amnesty International condemned once again the sentences imposed on Sahrawi activists on hunger strike for arbitrary sentences imposed by a military court in 2013 and called on the Moroccan authorities to ensure their release after five years of arbitrary detention".
 
The thirteen political prisoners of Gdeim Izik group are on hunger strike to demand their legitimate right to a fair and civil trial.SPS
