El Aaiun (Occupied Territories) May 7, 2017 (SPS) - Moroccan forces intervened violently on Saturday morning against Saharawi political activist on hunger strike Sidi-Mohamed Alouat, in front of his house in the so-called Inaash neighborhood in the occupied city of El Aaiun.
Sidi-Mohamed Alawat had entered, the day before, into an open hunger strike demanding the retrieval of his social rights after he was arbitrarily expelled from his job in retaliation for his political positions towards the Saharawi people.
He was surprised by several formations of the Moroccan occupation forces, surrounding his house, which rushed to assault him, causing him many injuries throughout his body. (SPS)
