President of Republic oversees inauguration of new judicial year

Shahid Al Hafed, Dec 19 2021 (SPS) -  The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front and President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Brahim Ghali, inaugurated today, Sunday, the new judicial year 2021/2022, at the headquarters of the Supreme Court of the Ministry of Justice and Religious Affairs.
The opening ceremony was marked by a welcome speech by the Minister of Justice and Religious Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Ambark Sidi Mohamed, then an assessment report on the work of the judiciary during the past year, presented by the President of the Supreme Court and the Central Director of Judicial Affairs, Brahim Al Bashir Bella.
In his speech on the occasion, the President of the Republic paid tribute to the judiciary and highlighted its importance in building the Sahrawi state. President Ghali called on the members of the judiciary to contribute to the legal and judicial battle of the Polisario Front, both in the legal aspects of the conflict in general and in relation to human rights and natural resources, with all their efforts and expertise.
The President of the Republic affirmed that the Sahrawi state is determined to complete the strengthening of institutional building and to fulfill its international obligations within the framework of the African Union.
