ALGIERS- G8 countries emphasized Friday in Deauville, France, their strong partnership with Africa, a relationship "rooted" in commitments for over a decade, mainly in development of peace and security.
The African leaders, especially the promoters of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD), including President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika, are regularly (since 2001) invited to dialogue with their G8 counterparts on the state of cooperation with Africa.
