Madrid, October 26, 2011 (SPS) - The kidnapping of three European partners in the humanitarian field in the Saharawi refugee camps "is to intimidate all solidarity with the Saharawi people and its just cause in the world," said Tuesday the Minister of Culture, Mrs. Khadija Hamdi, in a statement received by SPS.

"The kidnapping of three European partners in the Saharawi refugee camps, designed to intimidate peace activists around the world with the Saharawi people and its just cause," she added.

The Saharawi Minister attending festival of short films in the region of Rioja (Spain) denounced the kidnapping of innocent European humanitarian mission in favor of a peaceful people living in exile for over thirty five years due to military occupation of Western Sahara by Morocco.

"Terrorism has no borders, no religion, or culture or nationality, and is mainly based on the indifference to human life," said the minister, saying it is "a crime against humanity ".

The Saharawi people who suffered so much from the illegal occupation of its territory, Western Sahara and the harsh conditions of exile, could provide models for civilization and respect for freedom and peace, said Ms. Khadija Hamdi.

"The safety and security of all the friends of the Saharawi people in the refugee camps" is an obvious question, "she said, noting that" cooperation and humanitarian aid should not be affected by terrorists or enemies of the Saharawi people. "(SPS)
