Sahrawi people will continue resistance to achieve freedom and independence

Crete (Greece), Oct 31, 2011 (SPS) - The Minister Delegate in Charge of Europe, Mr. Mohamed Sidati, has reaffirmed that the Saharawi people will strictly continue resistance to accomplish their legitamate rights to freedom and independence, calling on peoples aspiring values of justice, democracy and human rights in the Arab World to show solidarity with the Saharawi cause.

Speaking before a meeting of the Communist Women’s International committee held in the Greek Island of Crete, Mr. Mohamed Sidati recalled to the tragedy of the Saharawi people who face the Moroccan State terrorism based on repression and injustice.

On the abduction of the 3 foreign aid workers, he considered the incident as “cowardly attack targeting the Saharawi refugee camps and translated to the kidnapping of European friends were supplying the Saharawi refugees.”

“The Sahrawi people struggle is a part of the peoples’ struggle for freedom and independence,” he said, pointing to the huge peaceful protest of Gdeim Izik which was dismantled on November 8, 2010 by the Moroccan occupation army.

The meeting was an opportunity for the Saharawi official to hold talks with several delegations attending with the meeting. (SPS)
