Moroccan court postpones trial of six Saharawi students

Sale (Morocco), Feb 21, 2012 (SPS) - The Moroccan court of appeal in Sale has postponed on Monday, for the second time, the trial of the six Saharawi students to February 27, according to a statement of Collective of the Saharawi Human Rights Defenders (CODESA).


Student detainees denied the alleged charges made by the court, asserting their peaceful struggle.


The Saharawi students denounced their arbitrary arrest and miserable situation in which they live inside the jail.


The students detained in April 21, 2011 following a peaceful protests to denounce the death of the Saharawi student Hbad Hamadi. (SPS)
