Bir Lehlou (liberated territories), March 26, 2012 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, has congratulated Mr. Macky Sall, on his election on Sunday as the President of the Republic of Senegal.
“On the occasion of your brilliant election as President of the Republic of Senegal, I am particularly pleased to send you, in the name of the Saharawi people and government and in my own name, warm congratulations and best wishes of health and happiness for you and that of your family and more progress, prosperity and welfare to the brotherly people of Senegal,” wrote President of Republic in his letter to Mr. Macky Sall, new elected Senegalese President.
President Mohamed Abdelaziz expressed confidence that Mr. Macky Sall will spare no effort to take on this noble mission to serve your country and just causes around the world.
He therefore reaffirmed will of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic to strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation with the Republic of Senegal, in favor of the bilateral action and consolidation of peace, stability and development in Africa. (SPS)
