President of Republic calls on Ki moon to urgently intervene to unveil circumstances behind death of Saharawi citizen in Occupied Al Aiun

Bir Lehlou( Liberated Territories), June 3, 2012 (SPS)  - The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, has called on Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon to intervene urgently to unveil  the circumstances behind the "treacherous assassination" of the Sahrawi citizen Hamdi Trfawi on 18 May in occupied city of Al Aiun.

 

In a letter to UN Secretary General, The President Mohamed Abdelaziz pointed out that the Saharawi victim has disappeared in mysterious circumstances, accusing Moroccan occupation of "suspicious procrastination" to announce his death.

 

"As usual, the occupation authorities have tried  to demoralize the family of the late Hamdi Tarfawi by describing him of the worst qualities, in an attempt to transmute him from a victim to criminal and drunk," the President wrote to Ki moon.

 

The President said all circumstances indicate the Moroccan authorities are responsible of this crime given to its policy of brutal assassinations has been carried out since the military invasion in 1975. (SPS)
