Saharawi political prisoner starts unlimited hunger strike in solidarity with his companion Sahel Rtimi

  Ait Mellul(Morocco) July 11,2012(SPS) the Saharawi political prisoner Issa Buda, has decided to start from last Monday  an open hunger strike in Ait Mellul prison(Morocco) to express solidarity with his comrade Sahel Rtimi, who is in unlimited hunger strike since June11, according to the Saharawi Ministry for occupied territories and Communities.
 

The source explained that the Hunger strike comes to protest against the continuing ignorance of prison’s administration to suffering of Saharawi political prisoners and lack to respond to legitimate demands of the Saharawi political prisoner Sahel Rtimi.

         

The Saharawi political prisoner Sahel Rtimi, has started an open hunger strike since June11 against ill-treatment that he subjects to in the prison and to protest against rejection of prison’s administration to deal with him as a political prisoner and separate him from criminals and take him to the cell of the Saharawi political prisons Shikh Amidan and Issa Buda.
 

It should be recalled that the Saharawi political prisoner Sahel Rtimi, has detained in December3, 2009 in city of Tantan(Southern  Morocco) because of his participation in peaceful demonstration asked  for Saharawi people’s right to self-determination and sentenced four years of prison.(SPS)
