Bir Lehlou (liberated territories), August 18, 2012 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Frente Polisario, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, has sent letters of congratulation to the kings and heads of Islamic countries on the occasion of the advent of blessed Eid al-Fitr.
President Mohamed Abdelaziz extended, on behalf of the Saharawi people as well as government of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic and on his own behalf, congratulation and greeting to the heads of Islamic countries, on this solemn occasion, hoping for Allah the Almighty to give them continued luck, as to provide their good efforts with the effective ways of success, which would enable the brotherly Islamic peoples, to achieve more progress and prosperity. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
It should be recalled that the Saharawi people celebrates, like all Muslim nations and states, Eid al-Fitr on Sunday corresponding to Shawal 1st, 1433 H, after fasting whole Ramadan 30 days. (SPS)
