President of Republic urges UN to protect Saharawis in the occupied territories of Western Sahara

Bir Lahlu ( liberated territories) Nov21,2012(SPS) President of the Republic ,Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz ,on Tuesday asked the United Nations to intervene to protect the Saharawi defenseless in the occupied territories of Western Sahara from waves  of Moroccan repression the last one committed on Monday in the occupied city of AlAyun.
 

President wrote to Ban Ki-moon that this late brutal intervention shows that the Moroccan occupying authorities “insist to committee more violations of human right throw the repression  of peaceful demonstrations and seek to silence any Saharawi voice refusing injustice and occupation and to kill any peaceful movement looking for implementation of charter and resolutions of the United Nations especially the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence throw free and fair referendum,”  
 

President urged Ki-moon to intervene immediately to insure the safety and security of the Saharawis defenseless and their right to expression, movement and demonstration, calling for creation of “UN strict mechanism to enable the MINURSO to enjoy its status, prestige and credibility in consistence with its mandate in monitoring and protecting human rights in the Western Sahara.”(SPS)
