World's exhibition "Pablo Neruda" visits the refugee camps and liberated areas of Western Sahara

Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), May 7, 2013 (SPS) - World's exhibition "Pablo Neruda” Will be soon in Sahrawi refugees camps and the occupied territories of Western Sahara. The exhibition will open from 10 to 25 May as an act of solidarity with the Saharawi people in their just struggle, according to a statement issued by the Sahrawi Ministry of Culture

 

 

“The exhibition contains many fantastic artistic participation of artists around the world” explains the statement

 

 

According to the Ministry of Culture “World "Pablo Neruda” Expo, which would be in the camps after Paris and Algiers, will be of the most important cultural events celebrating the fortieth anniversary of the establishment of the Polisario Front and the outbreak of armed struggle”.

 

The statement added that “the exhibition, with its artistic touches, represents all the ideals of freedom, human rights and democracy as embodies the abiding faith in the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination, especially in the uprising conditions and escalation of the struggle witnessed in our occupied cities ".

 

 

"Pablo Neruda" is a poet, a fighter and a Chilean diplomat. He accompanied the president "Salvador Lindy", and was assassinated by the brutal dictatorship. His memory coincides with the fortieth anniversary of the founding of the POLISARIO Front. (SPS)
