Concern about Saharawi political prisoner’s health

Submitted on

London, Oct 29, 2013 (SPS) - The British ONG “Adala UK” has reported that the state of health of the Saharawi political Laroussi Abdeljalil Lemghaimad, one of the group of Gdeim Izik detainees who is currently serving a life sentence, has seriously deteriorated.

He has high blood pressure, which today (28th October) caused him to lose consciousness for more than an hour and lead to a nasal hemorrhage, said the same source.

Adala UK expressed concern that the Salé prison’s administration is not responding to this alarming situation, which requires immediate hospitalisation in order to save his life. (SPS)
