Mexican delegation starts 4-day visit to Saharawi refugee camps

Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), Jan 14, 2014 (SPS) - A Mexican delegation expected to start today, Tuesday, a four-day working visit to the Saharawi refugee camps, informed a media source.


The delegation composed of three members of the Mexican parliament, in addition to a writer, poet and journalist from the Dominican Republic.


The delegation will hold talks with several Saharawi officials including the Speaker of the Saharawi National Council (Parliament) Mr. Khatri Addouh, Minister of Cooperation Mr. Brahim Mojtar, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek and the Secretary General of the Saharawi Women Union Ms. Fatma Mehdi.


They will also visit some facilities in the camps such as the National Museum, headquarters of the Association of Families of the Saharawi Prisoners and Disappeared (AFAPREDESA). (SPS)
