Exhibition in Rome of documentary on Saharawi women situation under Moroccan occupation

Rome, March 10, 2014 (SPS) - Italian capital Rome hosted Saturday the screening of a documentary on the violence against Saharawi women in the occupied territories of Western Sahara, produced by Italian director Simona Zukala, entitled: "I inform you that I am alive" 
 
The film deals with the sufferings of Saharawi women Muenna Abaali, Sukeina Yadahlu during the 11 years they spent in Moroccan prisons.
 
At the end of the screening of the film that was exhibited on the occasion of the celebrations for International Women's Day, organized a discussion panel on the struggle of the Sahrawi people.
 
According to The Polisario Front Representation in Rome, the President of the Italian Parliamentary Group of solidarity with the Saharawi people, Mr. Stefano Bacardi, along with the president of the National Association of solidarity with the Saharawi people, Mr. Luciano Ardeci, held March 12 a press conference at the headquarters of the Italian Senate in the presence of the Representative of the Polisario Front in Italy, Mih Omar.
