President of Republic condemns visit of King of Morocco to occupied city of Dakhla

Submitted on

Birlehlu, April 19, 2014 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front Mohamed Abdelaziz  expressed the condemnation of the Polisario Front and its rejection to the visit of the King of Morocco to the occupied city of Dakhla, considering it as an act of aggression, in a letter Saturday to the UN Secretary General, Mr. Ban Ki- Moon.

He requested the Secretary-General of the United Nations to transfer this concern to the members of the UN Security Council and the repercussions and consequences that might result from it, so that the Council will take the immediate and appropriate actions and measures.

The President of the Republic pointed out that the visit of the king of Morocco represents a ‘blatant defiance to the efforts of the United Nations, a flagrant neglect for international law and plain disregard for the Security Council, which reflects the absence of a real and honest will to resolve the conflict and reveals hidden intentions of intransigence and fabricating tension and creating obstacles’.
