President Mohamed Abdelaziz granted honorary doctorate of human rights

June 9th School (refugee camps), May 28, 2014 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz granted Wednesday an honorary doctorate of human rights from the Logos De Colombia University in the U.S.A.


The doctorate was presented by the Dean of Logos University Dr. Edgar Eduardo Prada, in a ceremony organized Tuesday at the headquarters of the Saharawi National Council (parliament).


Taking the honorary doctorate, President Mohamed Abdelaziz thanked Logos University for this initiative, adding that such move would contribute to building bridges of communication between the Saharawi people and branches of the University across the world.


“Such honorary doctorate is a strong message of support and solidarity from the University with the Saharawis, who are suffering from the oppression of Moroccan regime,” said Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front.


Saharawi President, for his part, granted a certificate of appreciation to Logos University and its Dean Dr. Edgar Eduardo Prada.


The ceremony was attended by members of the National Secretariat of the Frente Polisario, government and parliament, in addition to some senior cadres in the state. (SPS)
