ALGIERS, January 11, 2015, (SPS) -President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros, will be next Monday and Tuesday on a state visit to Algeria at the invitation of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the Presidency of the Republic said Sunday in a statement.
"This visit will further consolidate the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries," the source added.
"The talks between Presidents Bouteflika and Maduro will also allow them to exchange views on international issues of mutual interest," the statement stated.
"These talks will also be an opportunity for consultation between Algeria and Venezuela, two active members of OPEC, about the current oil price crisis and ways and means to achieve their recovery as part of a broader effort to non-OPEC producers," added the Presidency of the Republic. (SPS)
