Saharawi political prisoner sentenced to 8 months in prison

 El Aaiun (Occupied Territories), June 28, 2015 (SPS) - The Moroccan occupation court in the occupied city of El Aaiun sentenced the Saharawi political prisoner Ghali Zigham to eight months in prison, according to a source of the Ministry of the Occupied Territories and Community Abroad.

 

 The Saharawi political prisoner entered courtroom chanting slogans calling for self-determination and independence for the Sahrawi people before the Moroccan police silenced him by force.

 

 The Moroccan Court in the occupied city of Smara had sentenced Ghali Zigham to four months in prison.

 

Ghali Zigham was arrested in May by the Moroccan occupation authorities outside his home because of his participation in peaceful demonstrations demanding self-determination of the Saharawi people and expressing solidarity with all the Saharawi political prisoners languishing in Moroccan prisons, it should be recalled.
