Tantan (Southern Morocco) 13September 2015 (SPS) - Sahrawi Media activist and coordinator of media team “Equipe Media” Mohamed Mayara was exposed Friday evening to harassment and provocation by Moroccan security men, in the presence of the members of his family while they were in the southern Morocco city of Tantan, reported the Ministry of the Occupied Territories and community Abroad.
He was traveling by a car when Moroccan gendarmerie men stopped him, searched the car and insulted and cursed him without any reason.
It was not the first time that the coordinator of media team “Equipe Media” was subjected to arbitrary actions; he had been exposed many times to Moroccan oppression the last of which was in the occupied city of El Aaiun with his fellow colleague Mammin Hashemi. (SPS)
