East Timor President receives Saharawi Republic envoy

Dili(East Timor), Sept23, 2015 (SPS) -The President of East Timor, Mr. Taur Matan Ruak, on Tuesday received in the capital of his country's the envoy of the  President of Sahrawi Republic  and Minister Delegate in charge of Asian Affairs , Mr. Maulud Said accompanied by Sahrawi ambassador in Dili Mr. Mohamed Aslama Badi, according to a statement released by the SADR embassy in Dili.

 

 
During the meeting, the Saharawi envoy brief  his host the latest developments in the conflict in Western Sahara, and informed him about the visit of the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary General, Mr. Christopher Ross.

 


Form his part; the Timorese President expressed his country willingness and determination to boost bilateral relations between East Timor and the Sahrawi Republic, stating that the development of those links will always be a priority in our foreign policy.(SPS)
