Dakhla (Refugee Camps) December 20, 2015 (SPS) - The representatives of Unified European left reaffirmed the permanent support of the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence, during their meeting on Saturday with Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, on the sidelines of works of the 14th Congress of the Polisario Front, held in Dakhla (Refugee Camps), from 16 to 20 December.
The meeting discussed the latest developments related to the national cause on the European stage, especially the recent decision of the European Court of Justice to cancel trade agreement with Morocco the included Western Sahara and the approval by the European Parliament of a resolution in favor respect of the basic rights of the Saharawi people and demands the release of all the Sahrawi prisoners in Moroccan prisons.
The representatives of United European Left reaffirmed to continue work in order to make invalid the fishing agreement between the EU and Morocco that includes the territorial waters of Western Sahara. (SPS)
