Bidding farewell to outgoing Ambassador of Nigeria to SADR

Shaheed El Hafed, January 25, 2016 (SPS) The Secretary General of the Saharawi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hamdi Abaiha, received Sunday the Nigerian Ambassador to the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), Haruna Ginsau, after the end of his duties.

 

In a statement to the national press, the outgoing Ambassador of Nigeria expressed great satisfaction with the level of relations between the two countries, Nigeria and SADR, recalling that his country has always supported the right of the Saharawi people for freedom and independence.

 

Mr. Ginsu indicated that he is optimistic about the future of relations, especially "after the election of Mr. Muhammadu Buhari as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who is the engineer of the establishment of bilateral relations between the two countries in 1984 ".

 

For his part, the Director of the Protocol to the Saharawi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Labaid, welcomed the unconditional support of Nigeria to the Saharawi people's struggle for freedom and independence.

 

Mr. Labaid further expressed the appreciation of the Saharawi party to the efforts of Mr. Ginsau to strengthen relations and cooperation between SADR and Nigeria. (SPS)
