Oslo(Norway) January 05, 16 (SPS) .- Dozens of young Norwegian students demonstrated in front of the Moroccan Embassy in Oslo, demanding the organization of a referendum on self-determination in Western Sahara and to complete the decolonization of the last colony in Africa.
The demonstration was an occasion for many Norwegian youth organizations to express their intention to join the international campaign that demands the holding of the referendum in Western Sahara.
The protesters also demanded the international community to ensure respect for human rights in the occupied territories of Western Sahara, to stop the plundering of Saharawi natural resources and to facilitate access of international observers to the territory.
It should be noted that the Moroccan authorities during the month of January have expelled dozens of young Norwegians, and prevented them from entering the territory of Western Sahara. (SPS)
