Dakhla (Refugee Camps), 28 February 2016 (SPS) - In his speech on the occasion of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of SADR’s proclamation, the President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) Mohamed Abdelaziz paid Saturday tribute to Algeria and President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika for their support to the struggle of the Sahrawi people for independence and their right to self-determination.

“On this memorable day, we will remember with satisfaction and pride the positions of our brothers, friends and allies in the world, supporting the struggle of our people in their legitimate choices. We would like to hail with respect and gratitude Algeria, under the leadership of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, its people and government,” said President Mohamed Abdelaziz.

President Abdelaziz paid a great tribute to Algeria, which, he underlined, “hasn’t hesitated to take a position honouring it, in accordance with the principles of the glorious revolution of November, the Charter and resolutions of the United Nations and its adoption of the cause with absolute transparency and clarity, as it adopted the Palestinian cause and all the liberation issues in the world.”

“We pay tribute to the Algerian hospitable people who have always shown their solidarity and support, after receiving thousands of Sahrawi refugees on their territory,” added President Abdelaziz. (SPS)
