Sahrawi Ambassador in Panama participates in protocol reception on Panama's National Day

Panama, November 4, 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Ambassador in Panama, Sid Ahmed Derbali, participated with the accredited diplomatic corps in Panama in a protocol reception, where he had the honor of greeting Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino Quintero, who was accompanied by the First Lady and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, during the events celebrating Panama's National Days, which begin on the first of November, according to a statement of the Sahrawi Republic Embassy in the country.

On this occasion, Panama celebrates its National Days commemorating its independence from Colombia and Spain.

It is worth noting that Panama was the first country in Latin America to recognize the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic in July 1978, and since then, the two countries have enjoyed excellent friendship and cooperation relations.
