Algiers, 28 October 2024 (SPS) – The Polish Deputy Foreign Minister for the Middle East and Africa, affirmed in an interview with Algeria’s "El Khabar" newspaper published yesterday, his country’s steadfast position on the conflict in Western Sahara.

The Polish official clarified that "Poland's stance on Western Sahara has not changed; we support a process  of the solution under the auspices of the United Nations and in accordance with international law."

The Polish diplomat emphasized the importance of a political solution to the conflict that is sustainable, accepted by all parties, and respects the Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination, in line with United Nations resolutions.
