Chahid El-Hafed, April 27, 2021 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) took part Tuesday in a virtual meeting on gender organized by the African Union Commission specializing in gender.
During the meeting, in which SADR was represented by Ms. Mameha Chej, issues related to the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on gender were addressed, as well as the role of statistics in evaluating the effects of the pandemic on gender and the lessons learned, with the corresponding proposals to face the health crisis.
