Stockholm, Dec. 2, 2016 (SPS) - Swedish Socialist Women's Union organised Thursday a conference on the issue of Western Sahara to raise public awareness about the fight of the Sahrawi people for freedom and independence.
The conference addressed the sacrifices and the leading role played by the Sahrawi women in the struggle for freedom and emancipation.
The representative of the Polisario Front in Sweden, Alien Habib Kentawi, and the Director of Olof Palem School in the Wilaya of El Aaiun, Mumna Lebsir, attended the conference.
A photographic exhibition was organized on the suffering, human rights violations, torture and ill-treatment committed by the Moroccan colonizer. (SPS)
