Submitted on

Copenhagen, Nov. 6, 2016 (SPS) The Sahrawi delegation that took part in the international conference in Copenhagen, concluded a sensitization visit about the Sahrawi issue in Denmark, during which they had several meetings and contacts with government institutions and NGOS.
The meetings focused on the latest developments of the Saharawi issue and the increased systematic repression of the Moroccan state in the occupied territories of Western Sahara, in blatant violation of international human rights conventions.
In the same context, the delegation was received by the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Danish Parliament and senior officials at the Foreign Ministry.
The members of the delegation seized this opportunity to inform their interlocutors on the gross violations of human rights committed by the Moroccan colonizer and its media and military blockade imposed on the territory and the illegal plundering of Saharawi natural resources in complicity with some foreign companies.
The Saharawi delegation consisted of President of CODESA Aminatou Haidar, Polisario Front Representative in Denmark Abba Malainin, and President of Saharawi Committee of Human Rights Abba Elhaissen. (SPS)
